Details

Two insulated pliers in the pockets of a work bag.

Insulated for Electrical Work

The handles are insulated to protect against electrical shock for voltages up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC. They are individually tested and VDE certified in accordance with IEC 60900.

Flared Handles

The tops of the handles are flared to guard against live wires and also to give your hand a positive stop to push against, allowing better control with a looser grip.

Materials

A. Pliers Body — Drop-forged steel, oil-hardened to 43 - 45 HRC, and enamel-coated. Cutting knives are induction-hardened to 55 - 59 HRC for long nose and combination pliers and 59 - 63 HRC for cutting pliers.

B. Yellow Handle Core — Hard polypropylene.

C. Red Handle Overmold — Soft, grippy thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
