Insulated for Electrical Work

The handles are insulated to protect against electrical shock for voltages up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC. They are individually tested and VDE certified in accordance with IEC 60900.
Tekton insulated long nose pliers are 3.2 inches long, 0.7 inches wide at the joint, and 0.2 inches wide at the tips.

Long, Slim Jaws for More Access

The slim jaws are 3.2 inches long from the center of the joint to the end of the tips, allowing you to reach into tight spaces.

Five Work Zones

The slender jaws offer five distinct work zones:

Flared Handles

The tops of the handles are flared to give your hand a positive stop to push against, allowing better control with a looser grip and reduced hand fatigue. The flared shape also keeps the pliers from slipping through your hand or settling to the bottom of a storage pocket.

Materials

A. Pliers Body — Drop-forged steel, oil-hardened to 43 - 45 HRC, and enamel-coated. Cutting knives are induction-hardened to 55 - 59 HRC.

B. Yellow Handle Core — Hard polypropylene.

C. Red Handle Overmold — Soft, grippy thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
