Employees in our Manufacturing Center physically transform our products through operations like vibe polishing, pad printing, CNC cutting, laser marking, and broaching.

Tekton’s work is organized into several operations teams. Within those groups are specialized departments that work together to get things done and contribute to our mission of making the world's best hand tools accessible to every person.

<ul><li>Our Fulfillment Center has four core functions: Dealer Order Fulfillment, Direct Order Fulfillment, Assembly, and Receiving and Putaway. You will spend the first 30 days training in each core area. After 30 days of employment, you will have a meeting with your supervisor and another with Human Resources to talk about how it is going in the role.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Each area of the Fulfillment Center has designated Support Specialists who exemplify the pace and discipline required for impressive work. They are considered the very best at what they do. They take on extra responsibilities like training other team members, answering questions, upholding work standards, executing specific projects, and taking on supporting tasks. There is no minimum amount of time required for someone to move into this kind of supporting role.</li><li>The Fulfillment Center is led by Team Captains who support the team by coaching employees, setting daily objectives, continuously improving processes and procedures in all areas, and coordinating with other teams within the company. There is no minimum amount of time that an employee must be with the company to become a Team Captain.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Surroundings: You will be working in a clean, organized warehouse around people and material handling equipment like order pickers, forklifts, and carts.</li><li>Noise level: It is generally quiet with occasional low-level noise coming from pickers and forklifts.</li><li>Safety: Safety is important to us, and we take it seriously. The warehouse has designated walking and working areas, as well as guardrails in certain locations. We also provide safety training and protective gear such as vests, gloves, and floor mats.</li><li>Temperature: Our warehouse has heating and air conditioning. <ul><li>The Fulfillment department creates warehouse systems and processes that allow all customer orders to ship efficiently and accurately. This includes picking and shipping customer orders, neatly packaging and assembling products, handling and organizing inventory, developing technology systems and automation, maintaining clean and safe workspaces, and continuously improving all aspects of our Fulfillment Center operations.</li></ul>

As a Manufacturing Operator - CNC, you will produce Tekton tools with vertical and horizontal machining centers and Swiss-style machining centers. You will also interact with broaching machines, fiber marking lasers, automated sanding equipment, and a variety of small machines. You will work consistently, accurately, and quickly while following established procedures and meeting quality standards.

Modeling and machining are complementary capabilities that CNC Programmers must have. </li><li>Process Improvement: We push ourselves to find better, faster, and more consistent methods. Some of our best Operators will not only perform the processes but seek to transform them. This role spans the entire scope of making these products, from measuring and cutting materials to final sewn assembly. <ul><li>• Execute fast and helpful support, fielding end users’ order and tool-related questions that come through via phone, live chat, email, or support cases</li><li>• Review and process tool warranty requests</li><li>• Address any potential issues with orders including screening for fraud, resolving shipping errors, making sure orders are sent to our Fulfillment department, and processing returns</li><li>• Help troubleshoot issues users may experience on Tekton.com</li><li>• Contribute to making Tekton.com an exceptional experience for end users</li><li>• Review and process orders and payments</li></ul>
