40 Inch Wrecking Pry Bar

Video Overview
Two Prying Ends

Chisel End
The chisel end is solid and flat for heavy prying and lifting. A gradual, rolling bend lets the bar rock smoothly across the work surface instead of pivoting on a single point, reducing gouging.

Nail Puller End
A tapered V-notch slides under nail heads for quick, secure pulling. The head is bent to a right angle, rather than into a tight hook, keeping the handle clear of nearby obstructions.
Flat-Oval Bar Shape
Unlike hex or round bars, the flat-oval shape concentrates material in the direction you push or pull, where strength matters most. Its rounded edges won't dig into your palm the way hex corners can, and its flat sides won't twist in your hand the way a round bar can.

Offset Shaft
The handle shaft is offset to allow more hand clearance during use.

Beveled Tips
Both prying tips have a beveled edge, so either end can be driven into tight seams.

Material and Construction
The forged bar is made of 1045 steel, and the prying ends are hardened to 38 - 48 HRC. A red powder-coat finish makes the bar easy to spot on a job site.
