Video Overview
Our automatic wire stripper quickly strips insulation from solid and stranded wires across a wide range of sizes without adjustment, and a built-in stop sets a repeatable strip length. Spring-loaded handles allow one-handed use, long jaws reach into tight spaces, and a built-in cutter cleanly cuts copper and aluminum wire.
Score and Strip Insulation with One Squeeze
When the jaws close, they grip the wire securely while two V-notched blades score the insulation without cutting the conductor. The top blade then pulls back, removing the insulation in one smooth motion.
Adjustable Length Stop
There is an adjustable length stop inside the jaws to limit the amount of insulation you cut and remove from the end of a wire. The stop can be removed if necessary.

3/16 - 1 in. (5 - 25 mm)
Integrated Wire Cutter
A wire cutter at the top of the tool has a knife-and-anvil design to cut copper and aluminum conductors up to 9 AWG (Ø3 mm).
Please Note:
The cutting capacity is labeled on the tool. Cutting thicker or harder wires could permanently damage the blade. The cutting blade is permanently fixed; only the stripping blades are replaceable.
Handle Grip Features
The rear handle has a soft, grippy overmold on the outside for a secure hold and a smooth white panel on the inside for identification using a permanent marker or label. A tether hole at the base allows for a lanyard to help prevent drops when working at heights.
Replaceable Stripping Blades
Replaceable stripping blades keep each cut clean, consistent, and effortless. Note that the wire cutting blade is not replaceable.
