Video Overview

One end of the pry bar is angled for leverage and has a chiseled tip that is wide and flat for controlled prying. The opposite end tapers to a point for aligning holes and positioning parts. The hex bar shape helps it lay flat, and the surface is finished with a dry, rust-preventative coating.

Angled End for Leverage

The angled end is slightly bent to create a pivot point for leverage and is able to approach objects straight-on and pry with minimal clearance. It can be used to lift heavy objects and adjust their position from side to side. The wide chiseled tip also provides stable engagement with the workpiece.

Tapered End for Alignment

The alignment end is gradually tapered to position multiple parts for accurate assembly. The tip is pointed but not sharp.

Hex Bar Shape for Roll Resistance

Unlike a round bar, the hex-shaped bar lays flat and stays put.

Material and Finish

The pry bar is made from 5160 high-carbon steel and finished with a dry, rust-preventative coating. The item number is clearly laser-marked in the center of the bar.
