Details

A hand holding a Tekton P2 screwdriver #DWP00302

Designed for Speed and Torque

The front of the handle is round for quick turning and the middle transitions to a tri-lobe shape that provides a secure grip for high-torque driving.
The front of the handle has a round zone, the middle has a tri-lobe zone.

Three Handle Sizes that Scale with the Tips

Drivers with small tip sizes have smaller, more rounded handles for control with precision screws. Drivers with larger tip sizes have bigger, more triangular handles to turn large screws with more torque.
The P0 driver has a small handle, the P1 driver has a medium handle, and the P2 driver has a large handle.

Soft Overmold Grip for Controlled Turning

The handle's red exterior is made of a lightly textured TPE material that is slightly soft and grippy for controlled spinning, fine adjustments, and reduced slipping under torque.

Handle materials resist most common shop chemicals.

Side 1 has the logo and tip size, side 2 has the item number and tip size, side 3 has no marking, the rear has the tip size, and the blade has tip size and country of origin.

Size Markings in Four Locations

Each driver has the tip size engraved in four locations with high-contrast laser markings.

Flared End Prevents Slipping

The front end of the handle has a tri-lobe shape that flares out to prevent your hand from slipping while you're pushing it forward and turning.

Through-Hole in Handle

Each screwdriver handle has the same size through-hole so you can hang it on a hook. You can also attach a safety lanyard when working at heights to prevent drops.

Tip Geometry and Coating

Our slotted tips have a slight wedge shape that grips both sides of the slot. The inch series uses ASME sizing and the metric series uses ISO sizing for a precise fit in slotted screws.

Each tip is coated with black manganese phosphate, creating a slightly rough surface that enhances screw engagement. The conversion coating produces a uniform, corrosion-resistant layer that preserves tip geometry and resists flaking.

Steel Blade Won't Twist Out

The end of the blade is flattened to form a broad surface that resists twisting inside the handle. The handle is molded around the blade, creating a solid connection that is stronger and straighter than simply pressing the blade into a premade handle.
18 in. shanks are available on #2 Phillips and 6.5 mm slotted drivers. 8 inch shanks available on #1-#3 Phillips, 3/16-3/8 in. slotted, and 4-14 mm slotted. 4 inch shanks available on #0-#4 Phillips, 1/8-3/8 in. slotted, and 3-14 mm slotted.
