Details

A Tekton universal joint impact socket has a reduced height compared to a universal joint with shallow length socket. The universal joint impact socket is marked with a letter "A", the universal joint is marked with a letter "B", and the shallow length socket on the universal joint is marked with a letter "C".

Compact Design for Tight Spaces

These sockets are shorter than our shallow length impact sockets on U-joints, allowing access into tighter areas. One less connection point creates a stiffer joint reducing the loss of impact power.

6-Sided Pinless Joint

Parts and Assembly

The socket base and ball/socket are coated with a corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish.
The universal joint impact socket comes pre-lubricated with SuperLube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2) with Syncolon® (PTFE). Maintain the lubrication using this grease or a comparable grease as needed to reduce wear over time.
