Torque Wrench Lubrication
A small tube of Super Lube® Grease is included in every torque wrench service kit. This patented, heavy-duty NLGI Grade 2 synthetic grease provides long-lasting protection against friction, wear, rust, and corrosion. We recommend relubricating your Tekton torque wrench with Super Lube Grease once a year.
To Use the Lubricant:
- Apply a dab of grease between the pawl and the switch pin
- Use a very small amount—too much grease can degrade the torque wrench's performance
- Avoid applying grease on the gear and pawl teeth
