Apply Torque with Confidence

Every feature was designed to instill confidence in the wrench's accuracy and control during operation.
  • Calibrated to be accurate within ±3% for both clockwise and counterclockwise directions
  • Certified to the ISO standard for the full listed range (20 - 200 in-lb), unlike torque wrenches calibrated to ASME standards, which do not require calibration below 20% of the listed range
  • 90-tooth ratchet head with minimal swing arc (4º per tooth)
  • Accurate micrometer scale with high-contrast markings
  • Locking collar for a positive hold on the target torque setting
  • Coarse handle knurling and centerline groove for a sure grip

Accurate Within ±3% for Both Directions

The actual calibration accuracy will be stated on the certificate for your wrench, and will be within ±3%.
Example of maximum expected error:

This torque wrench is calibrated to the ISO standard. The ASME standard is more commonly used, but the ISO requirements are stricter in a few key ways:

  • ISO requires the lowest marked value on the scale to be tested. ASME starts testing at 20% of the range, which is often higher than the lowest marked value.
  • ISO requires clockwise and counterclockwise tests to match, whereas ASME allows counterclockwise to be less precise.
  • ISO requires 5 readings for each set point, whereas ASME only requires 3 readings for each.
Since this torque wrench is calibrated to the ISO standard, it also meets and exceeds the ASME standard.

90-Tooth Fixed Ratchet Head

The single half-moon pawl maintains 9 teeth engaged with the gear at all times, so it won't skip under stress. The internal components are the same design and construction as all of our 90-tooth ratchets.

4º Swing Arc Reduces Length of Travel

Having more teeth in the ratchet (B) results in less travel at the end of the wrench handle (D) between each tooth click.

Easy-to-Read Micrometer Scales

  • Single-unit scale for simplicity (in-lb)
  • High-contrast laser markings with bold fonts
  • Satin finish on the body to reduce glare
  • Numbers on the main scale are positioned close to the centerline to be readable without rotating the wrench
  • Indicator lines on the main scale are straight, not offset

Spring-Loaded Collar Locks Your Setting

The collar springs into a locked position that holds your setting and prevents accidental movement during operation. There is no thumb knob to tighten at the end of the handle.

Coarse Knurling for a Secure Grip

A deep, sharp-cut diamond pattern on the surface of the handle creates a coarse texture that won’t slip in your hand.

Design and Components

Proper Storage: To maintain calibration, store at the lowest setting to relax the adjustment spring.
The case has hard plastic latches, a product manual and certificate of calibration, removable metal hinge pins, and additional accessories.

Full-Featured Case

The case provides safe transport for the torque wrench and protects it from drops. Each item in the case has its own place and is held securely.

The case is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and the latches are polypropylene (PP).

With the lid off, the case and wrench are 1.5 inches tall.
