The triple square (also called XZN) tip is machined to precise tolerances for an exact fit with triple square fasteners.

90º Geometry

The internal star shape is formed by 3 squares superimposed, each with a 30º offset. The points are shaped to an internal angle of 90º, different from double-hex geometries.

Strong 2-Piece Design

Our two-piece bit socket design allows us to optimize the steel alloys, heat treatments, and forming processes for the bit and socket separately. This results in a tool that’s higher performing and more durable than traditional 1-piece impact bit sockets.

The socket is made from 4140 chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) steel and properly heat-treated for use on impact wrenches.
