Quickly Remove Axle Nuts

Impact sockets are ideal for quickly and safely removing and replacing axle nuts. This set contains sockets for servicing both 6- and 12-point axle nuts.

Two Size Markings

The size is marked in two ways on every socket—both as a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking.

Deep Length for Greater Reach

  • The deep socket can reach into wells to access axle nuts without the use of an impact extension, which could reduce torque.
  • The interior well extends far into the socket, providing ample room for the axle nut and spindle.

Sockets Exceed ANSI Torque Standards

Each socket size meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque.
(A single-cycle test applies torque until a specified value is reached without failure or permanent deformation.)
Cr-V sockets include 6-point 27, 29, 30, 31, and 32mm and 12-point 30 and 32mm. Cr-Mo sockets include 6-point 33, 34, 35, 36, and 38mm and 12-point 36 and 39mm
