Made From Cr-V Steel

External star (E-Star) sockets have an internal 6-lobe geometry designed for a high-torque fit that resists slipping.
Impact socket material

50BV30 Chromium-Vanadium (Cr-V)

Heat-treated to 40-47 HRC for use on impact wrenches. Coated with a corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish.
