Materials and Finish
The socket is made from 50BV30 steel and is hardened to 40 - 47 HRC for strength and durability. The socket is protected against corrosion with chrome plating on the outside and chrome plating supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish where needed for full coverage on the inside.

- Permanently impressed into the material by a roll-stamp die
- As large as possible while still being readable along the socket's curved surface
