What is the time limit on Always Guaranteed®?
There’s no time limit on our guarantee. Our tools are Always Guaranteed regardless of when or where they were purchased.
What information is needed to replace a broken tool?
If you’re having trouble with one of your TEKTON tools, just shoot us an email with your shipping address, a picture of the damaged tool, and a brief description of the trouble.
Why do you request a photo of a tool?
We request a picture to verify the tool, to document the issue with our product team, and to save you the hassle of mailing the tool in. A quick smartphone photo will work.
When can I expect a response?
If it’s a weekday between 9 a.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET and you have already sent us an email or submitted a replacement form request, we may have already responded. Seriously. Go check your email. A typical response will be under 30 minutes, but we often respond much faster. If you contact us outside of normal business hours, we’ll respond right away on the next business day.
When can I expect my replacement order to be shipped?
Replacement requests submitted before 2 p.m. ET on a business day will normally ship from our facility the same day. Submissions received on a holiday, weekend, or after 2 p.m. ET will normally ship the next business day. Please remember that in order to send you a replacement, we need a valid shipping address and photo of your tool.
How much do I have to pay for shipping of a replacement order?
Nothing. Always Guaranteed covers any required shipping and the replacement tool.
How do you ship replacement orders?
We ship most replacement orders via FedEx Home Delivery, which typically takes 1 to 4 days in the contiguous US. Small tools are occasionally sent out via USPS or FedEx SmartPost. Can I track my replacement order?
Most replacement orders are trackable. If you sent us an email or submitted a request on our website, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. If you called in and provided us with an email address, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. We occasionally send out small tools via USPS and those replacement orders aren’t trackable.
What is your return policy?
New, unused tools from tekton.com can be returned for a full refund within 45 days from the date purchased. Return shipping is $5, unless we made an error, and then it’s free. We can’t provide refunds for tools purchased at one of our retail partners such as Amazon.com, HomeDepot.com, and Meijer. If you purchased from a retail partner, please check their return policy.
Orders + Shipping
Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?
We process orders quickly, so during normal business hours you usually have only 30 minutes to cancel an order. If you need to cancel an order or make changes to an order, contact us immediately.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.
Do you charge me when I place my order or when the product is shipped?
Your credit card is pre-authorized as soon as you place an order. Your credit card is charged once your order is shipped.
Is my personal information and credit card information secure when I place an order?
Yes, your sensitive information is encrypted when data is exchanged between you and us.
Where can I ship my order?
Orders can be shipped within the contiguous US, Alaska, Hawaii, and to APO/FPO addresses (some restrictions apply). We don’t ship to PO Boxes, US territories, or international addresses.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is $5 for orders under $30 and free for orders over $30. For expedited shipping, we charge our shipping cost with no additional markup.
Where are your tools made?
We make each tool where it’s best made for our tool users. Talented people in the United States and other countries partner with us to build, machine, and assemble our products according to TEKTON standards. When our products are made outside the United States, we identify the country or countries specifically. For tools we label “Made in USA,” we mean that every part was made in the United States. If you’re wondering about a specific tool, please look at the origin section under the Specs tab on the tool’s product page.
Can I get a product manual?
If a product has a manual, you can download it on the product page.
Can I purchase TEKTON at retail locations?
Yes, our products are available in stores. Please contact us for the most up-to-date list of retailers in your area.
